Have you ever gone to check in your luggage at the airport and were told you’d have to remove some items to bring down the weight or pay extra?
I have. That sucks. Either you’re pulling apart your luggage and stuffing things in your carry-on on the floor or you get stuck with an extra fee.
Well, there is a simple solution that I don’t why it’s taken me this long to get – a portable luggage scale.
I got the Samsonite manual scale from Amazon for ten bucks and it’s such a help to be sure I am within the limits.
This scale registers up to 80 lbs and it includes a built-in tape measure to be sure your bag is also within the maximum dimensions.
It’s cheaper than an overweight fee and will take some stress out of your travel. I’m glad I got it.
