Don’t waste time on booths in the exhibit hall that don’t interest you – time is money and five minutes here and there results in lots of time and lost opportunities.
This won’t be an issue if you planned out which companies to visit in advance, and you always do that, right?
It’s not too late even after you arrive at the conference city. Read through the company descriptions in the app or printed program for the exhibitors and figure out which you want to visit.
Take notes, make plans on what you want to discuss with them, and keep track of how each of the interactions goes, and then be sure to follow up.
And don’t be that clown that hits every booth to collect shirts and hats and pens and chargers from each exhibitor. That’s a wasteful move for you and you’re stealing time from exhibitors who want to speak with real prospects.
